SHOALHAVEN City Council has called for community views on access areas for dogs.
Council has created an online survey to allow local residents to have their say on dog access areas.
Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash said it was important that a wide cross section of the community took the time to comment on the policy.
“Council currently has 22 off leash areas available to dog owners within the Shoalhaven,” said Cr Gash.
“As part of the review of the Access Areas for Dogs Policy, Council is asking the community as to whether a need exists for more off leash areas, potential off leash area locations and any areas that could be made dog prohibited.”
The survey is available at www.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au.
