POLICE are appealing for assistance from the public after a man went missing from Culburra Retirement Village.
Gordon John Andrews, 79, was reported missing to police after he failed to return to the village on the evening of December 12.
He was last seen at the retirement village at about 3pm that day.
Mr Andrews was discovered missing after staff went to check on him when he failed to attend dinner.
Police from Shoalhaven Local Area Command, the Rural Fire Service, State Emergency Service and National Parks and Wildlife have conducted searches of nearby bushland as well as an aerial search with the assistance of Polair but have been unable to locate Mr Andrews.
There are concerns for his welfare as he may become easily disorientated and is new to the area.
Mr Andrews may be making attempts to return to an address on Jerrara Road, Bungonia, near Marulan, or to the Sydney area.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 173cm tall with grey to white hair and was last seen wearing a dark blue
T-shirt, blue shorts and sandshoes.
