Severe cases of sunburn should always be referred to your health practitioner or local medical centre.

If you are only suffering a mild sunburn, you can ease the stinging and prevent further moisture loss from the skin by applying the following natural lotion.

Mix together 50ml of glycerine, 40ml of aloe vera juice and 10ml each of wheat germ oil and jojoba oil. Store the lotion in a tightly sealed bottle, shake vigorously before use, and apply generously to the affected areas of the skin.
